Indications

Bergamot essential oil normalizes the secretion of sebaceous and sweat glands in oily and combination skin. The pleasant aroma of the oil is suitable for baths and massage procedures.

How to use

Enrichment of cosmetic products: Mix 3-7 drops of bergamot essential oil with 10 g of base.
Massage: Mix 3-7 drops of bergamot essential oil with 1-2 tablespoons of any vegetable oil (almond, corn, grape seed) or your chosen cream.
Baths: Add 5-8 drops of bergamot essential oil, previously mixed with 1 tablespoon of emulsifier (honey, milk, sea or table salt), to a filled bath (37-38°C). Duration of the procedure is 10-20 minutes.
For dandruff removal and hair strengthening: Add 3-5 drops of bergamot essential oil or in combination with eucalyptus or cedar essential oils in a 1:1 ratio to 0.5 L of room temperature boiled water, shake well, and rinse washed hair. Avoid contact with eyes.

Обогащение косметических средств: 3-7 капель эфирного масла бергамота смешать с 10 г основы.
Массаж: 3-7 капель эфирного масла бергамота смешать с 1–2 столовыми ложками любого растительного масла (миндального, кукурузного, виноградных косточек) или выбранного Вами крема.
Ванны: В наполненную ванну (37–38 С) добавить 5-8 капель эфирного масла бергамота, предварительно смешанного с 1 столовой ложкой эмульгатора (меда, молока, морской или поваренной соли). Продолжительность процедуры 10–20 мин.
Для устранения перхоти и укрепления волос: 3–5 капель бергамотового эфирного масла или в сочетании с эвкалиптовым или кедровым эфирными маслами в соотношении 1:1 добавить в 0,5 л кипяченой воды комнатной температуры, хорошо взболтать и ополаскивать вымытые волосы. Избегать попадания жидкости в глаза.

True bergamot (Citrus bergamia) - a hybrid evergreen tree reaching up to 10 meters in height, belongs to the Rutaceae family. It is a result of the crossbreeding of pomelo and citron. It is found in tropical regions of Asia, but industrial cultivation is limited to the southern coast of Italy, specifically the Calabria region. The name of the plant comes from the Italian bergamotto, named after the city of Bergamo. The bergamot culture has been known in perfumery since the 18th century, where it was used as a source of fragrance. In ancient traditional Chinese and Indian medicine, bergamot oil was used as a means to rejuvenate the skin.

The main components of bergamot oil are leading biologically active compounds - L-linalyl acetate (30-60%), free and bound L-linalool (11-22%), D-α-terpineol (up to 6%), terpineol, citral, D-limonene, α-pinene and β-pinene, camphene, bergapten, β-caryophyllene, n-citrol, free and bound geraniol and nerol (up to 6%), sesquiterpene alcohols (up to 0.3%). The specific delicate aroma of the oil is due to the presence of L-linalyl acetate and free L-pinalool.
