Indications

Ylang-ylang essential oil relieves emotional tension, alleviates feelings of anxiety, and stimulates sexual desire. In cosmetics, it is used in oil blends for the care of oily, combination, and sensitive skin. It moisturizes and tones the skin. It prevents premature skin aging. It helps to set and maintain a tan, alleviating skin irritation after sun exposure. Recommended for the care of brittle, fine, and oily hair. An effective remedy for peeling and brittle nails.
Combines well with: geranium, grapefruit, jasmine, lemon, lemon balm, rose.

В косметике применяется в составе масляных смесей для ухода за жирной, смешанной и чувствительной кожей. Увлажняет, тонизирует кожу. Препятствует преждевременному старению кожи. Способствует закреплению и сохранению загара, устраняет раздражение кожи после приема солнечных ванн. Рекомендуется для ухода за ломкими, тонкими, жирными волосами. Эффективное средство против слоящихся и ломких ногтей.
Сочетается с: геранью, грейпфрутом, жасмином, лимоном, мелиссой, розой.

How to use

Methods of application:
1. Air aromatization. Fill the aroma lamp with hot water, add 5-7 drops of essential oil per 20 m² of area. Place a lit candle in the lower part of the aroma lamp. The candle heats the water. Do not allow the water to boil; periodically add water. Duration of the procedure is 15 - 30 minutes.
2. Massage. Mix 3-5 drops of essential oil with 1-2 tablespoons of any vegetable oil (jojoba, peach, almond, etc.) or massage cream, apply to the skin, then massage the problem areas of the body for several minutes until fully absorbed.
3. Bath. Add a mixture of essential oil (5-7 drops) with 1 tablespoon of emulsifier (milk, honey, sea or table salt) to a bath with water temperature of 37 - 38°C. Duration of the procedure is 15 - 30 minutes. After the bath, towel dry without rinsing.
4. Compress. Dissolve 15 - 20 drops of essential oil in 1 liter of room temperature water, then immerse a cotton cloth in this water, lightly wring it out, and apply it to the affected area, covering with compress paper and then with insulating fabric. Duration of the procedure is from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
5. Oil mixtures for cosmetic procedures. Add 1-2 drops of essential oil to one teaspoon of any vegetable oil (jojoba, peach, olive) and mix thoroughly. For facial and neck care, apply a few drops of the oil mixture to the fingertips and massage into the skin with light movements. For cleansing the skin of the face and neck, apply a few drops of the oil mixture to a cotton pad moistened with warm water and wipe the skin.
6. Hair care. Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to one tablespoon of shampoo, conditioner, or rinse. To prepare a hair mask, add 3-5 drops of essential oil to one tablespoon of fatty oil (almond or jojoba). Rub this mixture into the scalp, then wrap the hair in a towel and leave for 2 hours. After the procedure, it is recommended to wash the hair with shampoo.
7. Strengthening and polishing nails. Mix 10 drops of ylang-ylang oil with 10 drops of jojoba oil, apply to the nail plates and beds, and massage first with fingers, then with a gauze napkin.

1.Ароматизация воздуха. Аромалампу наполняют горячей водой, капают 5-7 капель эфирного масла в расчете на 20м2 площади. В нижнюю часть аромалампы помещают зажжённую свечу. Свеча нагревает воду. Не допускать кипения воды, время от времени необходимо добавлять воду. Длительность процедуры 15 - 30 минут.
2.Массаж. Эфирное масло (3-5 капли) смешать с 1-2 столовыми ложками любого растительного масла (жожоба, персикового, миндального и др.) или массажного крема, нанести на кожу, затем массировать проблемные участки тела в течение нескольких минут до полного впитывания в кожу.
3.Ванна. В ванну с температурой воды 37 - 38°С добавить смесь эфирного масла (5-7 капель) с 1 столовой ложкой эмульгатора (молока, меда, морской или поваренной соли). Продолжительность процедуры 15 - 30 минут. После ванны, не ополаскиваясь вытереть тело полотенцем.
4.Компресс. В 1 л воды комнатной температуры размешать 15 - 20 капель эфирного масла, после чего погрузить в эту воду х/б ткань, слегка отжать и наложить на больное место, накрыть компрессной бумагой, затем утепляющей тканью. Время процедуры от 30 минут до 2-х часов.
5.Масляные смеси для косметических процедур. В одну чайную ложку любого растительного масла (жожоба, персикового, оливкового) добавить 1-2 капли эфирного масло, тщательно перемешать.
Для ухода за кожей лица и шеи нанести несколько капель смеси масел на кончики пальцев рук и втереть в кожу легкими массирующими движениями.
Для очищения кожи лица и шеи нанести несколько капель смеси масел на смоченный в теплой воде и отжатый тампон и протереть кожу.
6.Уход за волосами. Добавить 3-5 капель эфирного масла на одну столовую ложку шампуня, бальзама или ополаскивателя. Для приготовления маски для волос добавить 3-5 капель эфирного масла на одну столовую ложку жирного масла (миндального или жожоба). Втереть эту смесь в кожу головы, затем обернуть волосы полотенцем и оставить на 2 часа. После проведения процедуры рекомендуется промыть волосы шампунем.
7.Укрепление и полировка ногтей. Смесь 10 капель масла иланг-иланга с 10 каплями масла жожоба, нанести на ногтевые пластины и ложа, помассировать сначала пальцами, а затем марлевой салфеткой.

Attention! Essential oils are highly concentrated phytoessences. For cosmetic purposes, they should only be used in a mixture with vegetable (base) oils.
General recommendations for the use of essential oils:
Before starting to use an essential oil, it is necessary to conduct a test for allergic reactions.
Mix 1 drop of essential oil with 1/3 teaspoon of vegetable oil and apply to the inner surface of the forearm or behind the ear. Apply 2-3 drops of essential oil to a handkerchief and periodically inhale throughout the day. The use of the tested oil is possible if there is no allergic reaction on the skin, headache, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, or facial swelling after 12 hours.
Precautions:
- Do not use in pure form.
- Do not apply internally.
- Always adhere to the recommended dosages. For children and elderly individuals, the recommended dose is 1/4 - 1/3 of the adult dose specified in the instructions.
- Avoid contact of essential oils with the eyes. In case of contact with eyes or mucous membranes, rinse them with plenty of water.

Меры предосторожности:
-Не использовать в чистом виде.
-Не применять внутрь.
-Обязательно соблюдать рекомендуемые дозировки. Для детей и пожилых людей рекомендуемая доза, составляет 1/4 - 1/3 от дозы взрослого человека, указанной в инструкции.
-Избегать попадания эфирных масел в глаза. При попадании эфирного масла в глаза или на слизистые оболочки необходимо промыть их большим количеством воды.

Pharmacology

In Tagalog (one of the two official languages of the Republic of the Philippines), ylang-ylang means "flower of flowers."

Ylang-ylang essential oil is obtained from the flowers of the tree, harvested in the summer at dawn using steam distillation. The petals of ylang-ylang flowers contain essential oil, which includes organic compounds: nerol, farnesol, nerolidol, eugenol, geraniol, linalool, safrole, and ylangol. The essential oil is light, fluid, and slightly yellowish. The aroma is festive, warm, gentle, and candy-floral.
